Fiona started her career as an Environmental Health Practitioner in London, then during 20+ years with a food safety consultancy developed two great passions – Nando’s (managing their external audits) and the healthcare sector - working with private hospitals, contract caterers, NHS Trusts and procurement bodies.
Fiona successfully led projects on behalf of the FSA including drafting the Listeriosis Guidance, and updating Safer Food Better Business.
Inspectrum, specialist food safety consultancy and training provider dedicated to healthcare, was established by Fiona, who is undertaking a Professional Doctorate with Cardiff Metropolitan University researching food safety culture in hospitals, and is Secretary for HCA Wessex branch.
