Iain Robertson

National Chair

Iain is the Catering Operations Manager at Solent NHS Trust, a community and mental health trust operating in Hampshire. He is responsible for the catering provision for patients and retail outlets across five inpatient sites.

Iain started his NHS career in Dorset in 1999 and has worked in various roles within catering before moving into his current role in 2019.

He is passionate about hospital catering and encourages staff to treat every patient as if they were a member of their own family.

Iain took on the role of National Chair of the Hospital Caterers Association in 2024.
