Mark Durden-Smith started his career working in BBC Radio local newsrooms and researching for Clive James and Clive Anderson. He then moved into sports presenting at Sky Sports fronting their BAFTA Award winning rugby coverage for six years including the Autumn Internationals, the Six Nations and the British and Irish Lions. He has also presented international and domestic rugby for ITV, Channel 5, ESPN and Prime. Aside from rugby, Mark has also presented the Boat Race (Nominated for a Broadcast Award), International cricket, European Tour golf and Spanish La Liga football.
Mark hosted four series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now on ITV 2 (Winner of a TRIC Award). Other programmes Mark has fronted include This Morning (ITV), BBC 1 Lottery Show Millionaire Manor, the BAFTAS aftershow,
Hell’s Kitchen (ITV2), Wish You Were Here Now and Then (ITV), Three@Three (ITV), Channel 4 Breakfast Show Rise, and Freeze Out (ITV).
Aside from his television work Mark is very active in the corporate world both as an awards host and conference facilitator. He has, and continues to, work with a range of companies and organisations including Nestle, Virgin, Samsung, British Airways, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, Carphone Warehouse, Santander, Halifax, SAP, The Football Association, Medtronic, Flight Centre, The Police Bravery Awards, the Freedom Travel Group, FEDESSA and many more.
He lives in Hampshire with his wife and three children and Flossie the dog.
